How would you describe your field and main tasks?
I work as a Strategy Consultant in TDC's Digital department where our workforce is around 1000 people counting the whole workforce. Digital was established approximately two years ago and the goal is to drive the Digital transformation in TDC together with e.g. YouSee, TDC Business.
In the strategy department, we work closely together with our CDO to ensure that we are on track with our roadmaps and assist our business lines in collaboration across Digital.

What are the most exciting and challenging parts of your job?
Working in a Strategy department automatically provides many insights into our organization and the many initiatives. The holistic view is both enjoyable and challenging. It requires a lot of attention to different departments, aspects, and projects, so it can be challenging to keep track of the helicopter perspective and participate in deeper level discussions at the same time. However, the challenge and the excitements goes hand in hand in this case.

How do you use your education in your position?
I mainly rely on methods on how to problems on a daily basis. The biggest difference when applying the theoretical methods in a business context is the pace expected to produce a viable result. During my studies, the results were planned to be delivered on a certain date, but in a work context deadlines are shorter, which is why adjusting those methods come in handy when you continuously have to deliver.

What are the three most important things for you in your job at TDC Group?
1. A healthy work environment with my closest colleagues where we contribute to each other work.
2. Learning the ins and outs of working in big organizations with multiple interfaces on different levels.

Why is TDC Group an attractive company for you to work in?
The number of possibilities within TDC are quite big and the company is heading towards an exciting transformation with new owners. I can’t talk for everyone else, but in terms of personality, skills, and relational development TDC have been a perfect place for me, which is why I would recommend it for everyone else at the beginning of their career to apply for a position here.
