Can you briefly describe the area of business that you are working with, including your primary work tasks?
I’m a part of the Legal and Patents team and I work closely together with R&D where I spend most of my time. My primary task, as a junior patent manager, is to establish a bridge between the patent team and R&D in order to scope out new inventions that may be patented but also to support the developers in establishing an overview of the patent landscapes that are of interest and relevance.

What are the most exciting and challenging tasks that you face in your job?
The most exciting and challenging tasks in my daily work is being part of the development of super innovative new technologies and projects. I enjoy being a part of the development team and supporting the IP aspect of product development.

How do you use your education in your current position?
I studied biomedical engineering where I learned about different technologies used in medical equipment. This has helped me to be more familiar with the technologies that are used in 3Shape, but also in understanding new inventions that are being worked on.
