How would you describe your field and main tasks?
My field is managing our community, which means building relations, being our brand ambassador, and making noise about Peakon on social media and such – whether it is in relation to tech, HR or leadership. I am in close contact with both internal and external stakeholders to either align communication between teams, establishing new partnerships or finding opportunities to engage our community and create value for them. I will most often be the Marketing ”man on the ground” in the Nordics so to speak.
Some of my main tasks involve planning and executing events, attending summits, conferences, and networking groups, making sure that we are present on social media in the Nordics and producing local content such as customer stories. This makes it possible for me to work with everything from indirect sales to marketing.

What are the most exciting and challenging parts of your job?
It is very exciting to help build and engage the Nordic community through events while working closely with our teams internally. This way I get to meet a lot of interesting people and at the same time drive change in the areas, I work in.
Putting together events is also the most challenging part. There is a lot of work involved in putting an event together from scratch.
But it is a good feeling seeing an event come together after putting a lot of effort into it.

How do you use your education in your position?
My background is a bachelors degree in Business Administration and Organizational Communication (HA(kom.) at Copenhagen Business School. I am now on my masters in the same field with a focus on digital media.
Both my past and current education is at use every day at my job as it has taught me to plan and execute campaigns and projects to relevant stakeholders, communicate strategically internally and externally, and manage social media effectively to name a few.
It has been very helpful when it comes to navigating my way through the tech industry, which is a new arena for me, and build events that are valuable for both our company but also for our surroundings.
-
What are the three most important things for you in your job at Peakon?
Firstly, I find it important to be part of a pleasant work environment, which means knowing my colleagues well and spending time with them during the day. This is definitely one of the best ways to ensure a good atmosphere in the office
Secondly, I believe that continuous feedback and inputs from both my manager and colleagues are necessary to ensure high-quality work. Synergy is a keyword in the marketing team.
Thirdly, the opportunity to actually make a change for other people and having an effect on our community (and having fun doing it).

Why is Peakon an attractive company for you?
Peakon was founded on the thought of building a company that you want to work for. This means supporting the life goals of people in the team and making sure that we get the most of our work life. To be fair we are working for the majority of our life. So why not make it a good experience, right? Peakon does a lot to make sure of that both internally and externally, which I have great respect for.
