Business Administration and Management
What you will learn:
The bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management provides students with the knowledge required for the administration, management and direction of companies and public and non-governmental institutions, nationally and internationally. The degree prepares students to join the job market by providing them with solid training in all common business areas. Graduates have a particularly broad range career opportunities. An English-language teaching group is offered.
The bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management consists of 240 credits that provide students with theoretical and practical training. Interdisciplinary Basic Training subjects worth 84 credits are offered in the first two years. The core contents of the learning process are delivered in compulsory subjects on accounting, economics and business environment, business organization, quantitative methods and strategic analysis. From the third year and mainly in the fourth, students may choose optional subjects worth 42 credits. Students have the chance to carry out an optional external placement worth up to 18 credits at a wide range of institutions and companies in many sectors. The final stage of the bachelor's degree is the completion of the Final Project.
The degree in Business Administration and Management allows students to specialise in four corporate areas: Business Organization; Finance and Insurance; Marketing and Market Research; Accounting and Taxation. Students wishing to receive recognition of a specialization in the European Diploma Supplement must enrol in a minimum of 30 specialization-specific credits out of the 42 optional credits.
The degree structure also makes it possible for third- and (preferably) fourth-year students to complete a stay abroad via the university mobility programmes offered by the Faculty of Economics and Business.
